This is an illustrated guide to some of the butterflies that make their way through the Pacific Northwest and the native plants that attract them. Butterfly images are carved from linoleum and made to scale.
This is a digital reproduction from original hand lettering and carved linocuts. I use a local, family-owned print shop, so you are supporting two small time businesses with this purchase!

About me and my work: I am a printmaker with over a decade of experience. I mostly work in linocut, a technique of carving into prepared linoleum. The raised parts of the linoleum are inked in a process known as relief printing. I use a combination of printing by hand and with a table top letterpress. I use inks that are vibrant and stand the test of time. All my designs are based on my original drawings.
